ORDER

The present criminal original petition is filed seeking a direction to the 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge for (PCR Court), Thanjavur to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of surrender in Crime No.122 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent police.

2. The petitioner is facing allegations under SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989. Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the learned 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge for (PCR Court), Thanjavur, to consider the bail application of the petitioner in Crime No.122 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent police and to accept his surrender on the same day after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.

3. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
