ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 229A I.P.C, in Crime No.287 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.
It is seen from the records that during the course of trial on 06.08.2018, the petitioner failed to appear before the Judicial Magistrate (FTC), Pattukkottai, Thanjavur District and for that the concerned Magistrate issued the bailable warrant and the same is pending with the respondent police.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the trial Court is more than 300 kms away from the petitioner's native place Thoothukudi. He is an aged person, due to his health condition, on the particular day, he could not able to travel for attend the Court. But, unfortunately warrant was issued by the trial court. Hence, he prays for anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, (FTC), Pattukkottai, Thanjavur District and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the concerned trial Court daily at 10.30 a.m for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required on receipt of summon. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 6.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
