The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to conduct enquiry upon the petitioner's representation dated 30.04.2026 and constitute a common committee for conducting Kodai festival in Arulmighu Siva Sudalaimada Swamy Temple, situated at Anjugramam Village, Agastheeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District in a peaceful manner.

2.The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side], appearing for the respondents 3 & 5, submitted that the temple festival is being conducted peacefully and there is no discrimination.

3.The said statement of the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] is recorded. Also, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.04.2026 and pass appropriate orders forthwith.

4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
