ORDER
The present revision is preferred by the accused against the order dated 19.1.17, passed by the VI Addl. District Court, Madurai in C.A. No.21 of 2016 confirming the order 29.3.16, passed by the Fast Track Court No.1 (Magisterial Level), Madurai, in S.T.C. No.529 of 2012.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the parties submit that the parties have reached a compromise in and by which an amount of Rs.85,000/= (Rupees Eighty Five Thousand only) has been settled. It is further submitted that the complainant has filed an affidavit stating that he has no objection for setting aside the order passed in 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
C.A. No.21/16 in S.T.C. No.29/12 by the VI Addl. District Judge, Fast Track Court, Theni.
3. In view of the affidavit filed by the complainant and the amount having been settled towards the debt due to the complainant, this Court accepts the affidavit of the complainant and, accordingly, allows the revision petition by setting aside the judgment dated 19.01.2017, passed by the VI Addl. District Judge, Fast Track Court, Theni, in C.A. No.21/2016.
4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the accused, that the accused is lodged in the Special Prison for Women, Madurai. In view of the above order, the petitioner/accused is directed to be set at liberty forthwith unless her custody/detention is required in connection with any other case.
