PRAYER :- Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to imitate contempt proceedings against the contemnors / Respondents and punish disobedience of the order of the High Court in W.P.(MD).No.21411 of 2024 dated 06-09-2024.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN,J.) When the contempt petition was taken up on 21.08.2025, the following order has been passed:

This contempt petition is filed to imitate contempt proceedings against the Contemnors / Respondents and punish disobedience of the order of this court in W.P. (MD).No.21411 of 2024 dated 06.09.2024.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the order of this Court passed in W.P.(MD).No.21411 of 2024 dated 06.09.2024, has been duly complied with and notice has been issued against the building owner.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners acknowledged that the order of the Court dated 06.09.2024 in W.P.(MD).No.21411 of 2024 has been complied with.

4.Recording the same, the contempt petition stands closed. The report shall form part and parcel of the order. 5.Further, it appears that the sub application has been filed by one R.Pushpa Kala, to implead her as the fourth contemnor in the main contempt petition. It is for the violator to proceed in accordance with law. Hence, the sub application is also closed.

2. Subsequently alleging that the order of this Court has been violated, Sub A(MD) No.418 of 2025 has been filed to reopen the contempt petition. Accordingly, vide order dated 16.10.2025, the present contempt petition was reopened.

3. Today, when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the learned Government Advocate, by producing a proceedings of the third respondent dated 25.10.2025, would submit that the order of this Court has been complied with and the premises have been locked and sealed on 25.10.2025. private respondent in the writ petition is aggrieved, he/she can work out his/her remedy in the manner known to law.
