Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2017 to conduct and celebrate the village temple festival in Kanjanayakanpatti village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District on 15th Adi and on the day of Maha Sivarathri in the month of Masi every year.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting temple festival in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent.
3.It is seen from the records that on 30.01.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 30.01.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
