Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the Petitioner's representation, dated 25.4.2025 to survey the property in S.NO. 511/4,Kombaipatti, Kanakkanpatti Post, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District to an extent of 1.36.00 hectares for measuring the Petitioner's property based on the Petitioner's survey receipt challan No.2025/0123/011654, dated 25.4.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 25.4.2025 seeking survey of the property in S.NO.511/4,Kombaipatti, Kanakkanpatti Post, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District 2.Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.It is the case of the Petitioner that the above mentioned property belongs to him ancestrally and patta stands in the name of the Petitioner and his mother and siblings in Patta No.707.The Petitioner submitted an application on 25.4.2025 in Application NO.2025/0123/011654 seeking survey of the above mentioned property. The same has not been considered till date. Hence the Petitioner submitted a representation on 26.5.2025 to the respondents to survey the above mentioned property as per the online application. The said representation was also not considered till date. Hence, the Petitioner has come before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 2/5

4.MrM.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the online application submitted by the Petitioner, dated 25.4.2025 for survey of the Petitioner's property will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the Petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider the online application of the Petitioner, dated 25.4.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits,after giving notice to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
