(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) This writ petition has been filed in the capacity of public interest litigation seeking a direction to transfer the investigation with regard to the death of one Hariharan to Crime Branch or any other competent officials.

2.Upon consideration of the submissions made and the relief sought for, we are of the view that such a direction cannot ordinarily be sought in a Public Interest Litigation. If the petitioner has any grievance regarding the manner in which the investigation is being conducted, it is open to him to work out his remedy in the manner known to law by invoking the appropriate provisions of criminal law before the competent forum.
3.In view of the above, we are not inclined to entertain the present writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
