Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Director of Tamil Development, the 1st respondent herein to forward the petitioner's application for appointment as Assistant Director of Tamil Development to the Secretary to Tamil Nadu Government for Tamil Development, the 2nd respondent herein and to direct the 2nd respondent to appoint the petitioner as Assistant Director of Tamil Development forthwith. The petitioner has submitted an application dated 09.04.2012 to the 1st respondent, seeking to appoint her as Assistant Director of Tamil Development, and since the said application has not been considered, she has filed this writ petition, for a direction to the 1st respondent to forward the abovesaid representation/application to the 2nd respondent and to direct the 2nd respondent to appoint her as Assistant Director of Tamil Development within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.Having regard to the limited relief sought for, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the 1st respondent is directed to forward the application of the petitioner to the 1st respondent, seeking to appoint her as Assistant Director of Tamil Development, and the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

1st respondent in turn, shall consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law, if there are no legal impediments, after affording opportunity of being heard to the petitioner.
