The petitioner, with a grievance that the charge sheet filed in the year 2020 is pending without any progress has approached this Court, seeking a direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial in CC No.1570 of 2020.

2.Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondent and submits that the above case is posted on 09.08.2024 for charge framing.

3.This Court is unable to appreciate the contention that the case, which has been registered in the year 2020 is posted for charge framing only on 09.08.2024. Therefore, the trial Court is directed to conclude the proceedings in CC No.1570 of 2020 as expeditiously as possible.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
