The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 468 and 471 of IPC in Crime No.3 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

The case of the prosecution is that under the guise of doing Iridium business and by using the name of the Reserve Bank of India, the accused persons have cheated the de-facto complainant and has received huge amount from her and when the same was questioned, the issued a cheque, which was returned as insufficient fund. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is no way connected with the alleged occurrence as stated by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submitted that under the guise of doing Iridium, the accused persons have cheated the de-facto complainant by misusing the name of the Reserve Bank of India and the offences alleged against the accused are serious in nature. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/4

Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the serious allegations against the accused persons and the fact that this Court in the allegation involving iridium has not granted anticipatory bail to the accused, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
