ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) This Writ Petition has been filed for Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the encroachment made by the 4th respondent in Survey No.178/64 to an extent of six cents at V.O.C.Nagar, Pattampudur Village, Virudhunagar Taluk, Virudhunagar Distict in the light of the representation dated 01.07.2019.

2. On the allegation that the lands in Survey No.178/64 is a public property, the petitioner seeks for evicting the fourth respondent from the said survey number.

3. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents, on written instructions, submitted that patta has been granted to the fourth respondent for the lands in Survey No.178/64 in Patta No.601. A

copy of the patta is also produced before this Court today. In view of the same, the very apprehension of the petitioner that the subject lands are public properties is misconceived.

4. Hence, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
