The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider his application seeking transfer of house site patta dated 20.12.2016 from the name of his deceased father into his name.

2.Needless to say that it is for the respondent to consider the said application and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law and therefore, this Court at this stage is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner. However, it is made clear that it is for the petitioner to satisfy the respondent that he is the only legal heir of his deceased father. 3.Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of only with the above direction to pass such order within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, also after hearing the rival claimants if any.
