ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 406, 506(i) I.P.C and Section 4 of TNPWH Act, in Crime No.14 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner's sister son had got married with the defacto complainant. After the marriage, due to matrimonial dispute, they are living separately and the defacto complainant's husband has also filed a petition for divorce in HMOP.No.446 of 2018. At this juncture, the present complaint has been lodged.
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation is pending. 5.Taking note of the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on her appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam and on her executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.
6.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
