Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, Government Advocate, accepts notice for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The prayer in the writ petition is for a Mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as a Village Assistant for the post in anyone of the Vacancies in Aranthangi Taluk, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2017. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that as against the non selection of the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Village Assistant, the petitioner had given a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation dated 30.01.2017 to the 2nd respondent and if the said representation, which is pending before the said authority, is directed to be considered, the petitioner would be satisfied. 4.Heard the learned Government Advocate in this regard. 5.In view of the said submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits or the claim made by the petitioner through the said representation, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation given by the petitioner on 30.01.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to give a copy of the said representation to the third respondent and on receipt of the same, the aforesaid direction shall be complied with by the third respondent.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
