..Respondent Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue the entry ticket to the petitioner to enable the petitioner to participate in the auction in respect of item No.7 under Zone 4, the right to collect toll from the tourist vehicles at Thiruparankundram by accepting the Demand Draft from the petitioner.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition, seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue the entry ticket to the petitioner to enable the petitioner to participate in the auction in respect of item No.7 under Zone 4, the right to collect toll from the tourist vehicles at Thiruparankundram by accepting the Demand Draft from the petitioner. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Murali, learned standing counsel appearing for the Madurai Corporation has submitted that if the petitioner, who is having Demand Draft for the requisite amount shown in the notification, along with two passport size photographs, residence proof and PAN number, approaches the respondent, he will be issued with entry ticket for participating in the public auction to be held on 05.08.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.Recording the submission made by the learned standing counsel appearing for the Madurai Corporation, this Writ Petition

is disposed of directing the petitioner to approach the respondent today, 04.08.2016 along with two passport size photographs, residence proof and PAN number. Upon production of the above documents, the respondent is directed to issue entry ticket to the petitioner for participating in the auction to be held on 05.08.2016 in respect of item No.7 under Zone 4 in the auction notification. No costs.

4.Learned standing counsel appearing for the Madurai Corporation is directed to communicate this order to the respondent forthwith, since the auction is going to be held on 05.08.2016.
