KIRUBAKARAN, J.] This writ petition has been filed, seeking for the issuance of writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to remove the construction wastages and renovate the Animal Care Centre, Palayamkottai Zone, Tirunelveli and restore the same to its earlier position by way of considering the petitioner's representation, dated 22.09.2020.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the existing Animal Care Centre is being used for storing the construction materials and also dumping debris and therefore, he has given a representation on 22.09.2020 to renovate and keep the Animal Care Centre in a proper manner.

Mr.Aaiyiram K.Selvakumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, has filed a communication, dated 26.11.2020, written by the Commissioner, Tirunelveli, stating that the existing Animal Care Centre is located in Survey No.2281/3 and since the Corporation intended to utilize the same for construction of a Kaliyarangam and a Children's Park, they have allotted another place for the Animal Care Centre at Survey No.2281/1 to an extent of 350 sq.m.

4. Since alternative site has been identified, it is to be given for constructing the Animal Care Centre. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to construct the Animal Care Centre in Survey No.2281/1 in 350 sq.m., within a period of two months from today.
