ORDER
The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to correct the name in the revenue records in respect of the properties situated at Survey Nos.416/2 and 416/6, Gandhi Nagar, Natham Town, Dindigul District as ''Sri Arulmigu Sri Malayalathu Karuppu, Sri Mandayamman Kovil'' by deleting the name of ''Muniyandi Temple''. In other words, according to the petitioner, the name of the temple is wrongly quoted in the revenue record as ''Muniyandi Temple'' instead of the other temple. Therefore, for such correction, the petitioner claiming to be the trustee of the other temple made representation on 04.02.2014 to the respondents seeking for such correction. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation is still pending, even though the Land Administration Commissioner, Chepauk, through his proceedings dated 30.05.2014, directed the 2nd respondent to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate action. Needless to say that it is for the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law and therefore, this Court at this stage is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner. 3.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of only by directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation dated 04.02.2014 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance after hearing all the parties concerned and also after conducting enquiry in the locality. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents 2 and 3 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
