ORDER

The present criminal original petition is filed seeking a direction to the District and Session Judge (Special Court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Theni District to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of surrender in Crime No.276 of 2026 on the file of the second responent police.

2. The petitioners are facing allegations under SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989. Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the learned District and Session Judge (Special Court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Theni District, to consider the bail application of the petitioners in Crime 2/4

No.276 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent police and to accept their surrender on the same day after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.

3. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
