Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time for surrender and execute a bond with two sureties as directed by this Hon`ble Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.5332 of 2021 dated 29.04.2021.

Prayer in CRL MP(MD). 6521/ 2021 :

To modifty the condition imposed on the petitioners in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.5332 of 2021 dated 29.04.2021. Order : These petitions coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petitions filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.A.MOHAN, Advocate for the petitioners in both the petitions and of Mr.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent in both the petitions, the court made the following order:- Crl.M.P.(MD)No.6540 of 2021 has been filed to extend the time to comply with the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5332 of 2021 dated 29.04.2021.

2. It appears that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail as early as on 29.04.2021 and after a period of four months, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD) No.5332 of 2021 this application has been filed for extension of time, stating that due to the pandemic situation, the petitioner could not arrange the sureties. This Court is not satisfied with the reasons assigned in the petition. Therefore, this petition is dismissed.

3. Since the petition for extension of time itself is dismissed, the petition in Crl.MP(MD)No.6521 of 2021 to modify the condition is also dismissed.
