: Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct an enquiry with regard to the present strength of the students at Adi - Dravidar Welfare Hostel for Women's, Unjampatti, Virudhunagar District, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2016, within a time as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal during the time of admission.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.
4. The petitioner submitted a representation to the first respondent complaining that the third and fourth respondents are collecting huge amount by way of grant showing large number of students, notwithstanding the fact that there are only two students, who are enjoying the benefits provided by the Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Welfare Department. In short, it is the grievance of the petitioner that the third and fourth respondents have been collecting huge amount under the pretext that there are large number of students residing in the hostel.
5. The representation was submitted only on 01.07.2016. Even before the expiry of one month, the petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition.
6. The representation is now pending on the file of the first respondent.
7. We direct the first respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 01.07.2016, on merits and as per law, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to mention that notice should be issued to the third and fourth respondents before the disposal of the representation.
8. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
