This petition is filed seeking direction to the fourth respondent to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet by considering his representation dated 17.08.2021. 2.The case of the petitioner is that he has been implicated in Crime No.895 of 2014 by the fourth respondent and he was facing trial before the VI Additional Sessions Court, Madurai in SC No.54 of 2017 and he was acquitted on 24.02.2020. Based upon the above said criminal case, History Sheet was opened against him. After acquittal in the case, it was not removed so far. W.P.(MD)No.15741 of 2021 and been issued in RC No.133410/Crime 4(3)8/2018 dated 05.10.2018 has not been followed by the third respondent. So he sent representation dated 17.08.2021 to remove his name from the History Sheet. So far no action has been taken. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner was involved in the above said case under Section 302 IPC and subsequently, he was acquitted from the case. Apart from the above case, the petitioner is not involved in any other case. 4.Since representation has been sent and it is pending, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and pass orders within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
