ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 5(n), 5(l), 1/4

5(j)(ii) and 6 of Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, in Crime No.16 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that when the victim was alone in the home, the petitioner had physical relationship with her on several occasions, due to which, she got pregnant. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offences as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner on the ground that he committed penetrative sexual assault on a minor victim, and the DNA test results corroborate the allegation.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the petitioner he committed penetrative sexual assault on a minor victim, and the DNA test results corroborate the allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
