O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Special Court for Land Grabbing Cases, Tirunelveli to expedite the trial and dispose the case in C.C.No.04 of 2014 on its file as time frame fixed by this Court.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the son of the defacto complainant and his father gave a complaint against the accused persons before the respondent police which was registered in Crime No.265 of 2011 on 14.07.2011 for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(1), 467 and 420 of IPC. Investigation has been completed and the final report was also filed before the concerned court which is taken on file in C.C.No.04 of 2014. Even after a lapse of seven years, there is no progress in that case.

3.Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, accepts notice for the respondent Police.

4.In view of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the learned Special Court for Land Grabbing Cases, Tirunelveli to expedite the trial and dispose the case within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
