ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 23.12.2016, wherein and whereby, he sought for issuance of patta in his favour in respect of the property comprised in Natham house site Old SR.No.213, New SR.No.394/27 admeasuring 2-cents and New SR.No.394/37 admeasuring 1 and 1/3 cents totally 3 and 1/3 cents in Thalaiyamangalam Village, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District. 2.Needless to say that it is for the 3rd respondent to consider such request and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the 3rd respondent with a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the matter, since it is for the 3rd respondent to consider the same and pass such order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
