PRAYER IN CMA(MD)No.SR15361 of 2018:

Pleased to set aside the Judgment and Decree dated 19.07.2017 made in MCOP No.293 of 2016 on the file of Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Principal District Court, Tuticorin and to enhance the award amount.

ORDER : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.SIVATHILAKAR, Advocate for the petitioner, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 438 days in representing the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal. 2.Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition and also considering the length of delay, this Court is inclined to condone the delay subject to the payment of cost of each Rs.2,000/-(Rupees two thousand only) to the Legal Services Committee, attached to this Bench, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order, failing which these petitions shall stand dismissed automatically without any further reference to this Court.
