ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of O.A.No.3 of 2016 filed by the petitioners under Section 63(e) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 in respect of Arulmigu Manjamalai Ayyanar Temple, Valayapatti, Vadipatty Taluk, Madurai District. 2.It is stated that the said O.A was filed by the petitioner seeking for certain customary rights in the said temple. It is for the 1st respondent to consider the said O.A and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law after hearing both the parties and therefore, this Court at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the matter.

3.However, as the writ petition itself is filed, seeking for the disposal of O.A.No.3 of 2016, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the said O.A., and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing both parties within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
