Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct fair and impartial investigation and to file final report in Crime No.12 of 2011 on the file of 2nd Respondent.

O R D E R

This Court, by an order dated 01.11.2018, in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.19930 of 2018, directed the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.12 of 2011 and file a final report within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. Since the order was not complied with, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the Contempt Petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the investigation in Crime No.12 of 2011 has been completed and final report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai and the same was taken cognizance and pending in C.C.No.909 of 2019. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
