Prayer in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15347 of 2021:- Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the records relating to the First Information Report in Crime No.881 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent pending disposal of the Criminal Original Petition and quash the same.
ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s.D.Thanga Aravindh, Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the Petitioners and of M/s. C.Selvaraj, Advocate for the 1st respondent, Mr.P. Edin Brough, Advocate for the 2nd Respondent, this Court made the following order: When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that the investigation was completed and final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai on 16.11.2024 through e-filing mode vide eFiling No.LTN20230001763C202400883. The copy of the final report was also placed before this Court.
2. In view of the above, compliance is recorded and there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai to act upon the final report filed in Crime No.115 of 2021 within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy 2/4
of this order and proceed further in accordance with law.
3. Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is disposed of with the above directions.
