Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant permission and adequate police protection to conduct the Innisai Kacheri programme on 01.03.2017 at about 09.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m. on the eve of temple festival in the Tamil month of Maasi festival 'Sri Subramaniya Swamy Temple' is situated in Avarakulam Village, Tirunelveli District based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.02.2017 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Innisai Kacheri programme in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 21.02.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
