Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representations dated 29.11.2023, 14.12.2023 and 19.02.2024 and 19.02.2024 and consequently direct the respondents to correct the revenue records with regard to the petitioner's 5 cents of patta land in Re-Survey No. 188/2 part, Palur Village, Vilavancode Taluk, now Mullanganavilai Village, Killiyoor Taluk, Kanyakumari District, which is wrongly mentioned as poramboke land in revenue records and has to be corrected as patta land and the petitioner's name has to be reflected as owner with regard to the same, as per decrees and orders in O.S.No.667 of 1970, O.S.No.199 of 2007 and E.P.No.29 of 2016. ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner claims right on the strength of civil Court's decree. The petitioner's grievance is that the petition mentioned land is being wrongly shown as "poramboke land" in the revenue records. He wants to be corrected as patta land. The petitioner has given representation in this regard.

3.The District Collector, Kanyakumari District, Nagercoil is directed to dispose of the said representation and pass necessary order within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to mention that the District Collector must have due regard the decree passed by the jurisdictional civil Court. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
