JUDGMENT

This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is filed,to set aside the award dated 08.03.2018 passed in W.C.No.40 of 2011 on the file of the Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Tirunelveli.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the matter had already been settled before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, and the report was filed on 06.06.2023, directing the respondent management to hand over a demand draft bearing D.D.No. 033140 dated 02.06.2023 for an amount of Rs.1,60,000/- drawn on HDFC Bank payable to the appellant Mr.T.Kathiresan as the settlement agreement.

3.The terms of the aforesaid settlement agreement shall be a part and parcel of this order.

4.Recording the same, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of. No costs.
