*********** [Made by R.HEMALATHA, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter Anishma, aged about 19 years went missing from 28.06.2022 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition with the above prayer.

2.Heard Ms.P.Pandi Rani, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2. 3.On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a petition enquiry in Puthukadai Police Station in C.S.R.No.552/2022 was registered and during the course of enquiry it came to light that Anishma was in love with the third respondent herein and had eloped with him. However, Anishma was secured by the police and 2/4

enquiry was conducted on 19.07.2022. Since Anishma was insisting that she would not go with the petitioner as she has got married, the petition enquiry in C.S.R.No.552/2022 was closed. 4.Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
