O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and police protection to conduct Kabbadi Tournment scheduled to be taken place on 10.08.2019 and 11.08.2019 at about 7.00 p.m to 6.00 a.m in connection with "62nd year of our Independence Day, Thalaikulam Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2. By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) takes notice for the respondents.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Kabbadi Tournment scheduled to be taken place on 10.08.2019 and 11.08.2019 at about 7.00 p.m to 6.00 a.m in connection with "62nd year of our Independence Day, Thalaikulam Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District. The petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 11.07.2019 and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith by imposing necessary conditions in order to maintain law and order.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
