[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to provide road and drainage facilities in ward No.25 (Jai Nagar) of the Madurai Municipal Corporation by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader has taken notice for the respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that on 17.08.2016, a representation has been given to the respondents with regard to the facilities mentioned therein. But no action has been taken. 4.Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed without cost. The respondent is directed to take effective steps so as to provide road and drainage facilities in the place mentioned in the petition within a period of two months.
