PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to transfer the investigation in Crime No.160 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent to any other competent agency and direct them to file a final report within a stipulate period. O RDER This petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.160 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent to any other competent agency and direct them to file a final report within a stipulate period.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a complaint against the accused persons before the second respondent and the same was registered in Crime No. 160 of 2022. However, the second respondent has not conducted the investigation in a proper manner. Hence, the present petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.160 of 2022 to any other competent agency.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that during the pendency of this petition, the investigation was transferred from the second respondent to the District Crime Branch, Dindigul on 26.07.2022. 2/4

4. In view of the above, the District Crime Branch, Dindigul, is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.160 of 2022 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
