ORDER
The present criminal original petition is filed seeking a direction to the District and Sessions Judge / Special Court for trial SC/ST (POA) Amendment Act cases, Theni to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of surrender in Crime No.260 of 2026 on the file of the second responent police.
2. The petitioner is facing allegations under SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989. Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the learned District and Sessions Judge / Special Court for trial SC/ST (POA) Amendment Act cases, Theni, to consider the bail application of the petitioner in Crime No.260 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent police and to accept his surrender on the same day after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant. 2/4
