3.Shajahan : Respondents PRAYER : Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the first and second respondents to provide necessary police protection to petitioner's life and limb and also property of pallivasal comprised in Survey No.86/3 nanjai land, Thirumanajan Veedhi, Pandaravadai, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur District on the basis of the petitioner complaint dated 06.12.2018 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking police protection to the petitioner's life, limb and property.
2. According to the petitioner he is the president of a Pallivasal. There is a civil dispute regarding classification of land belongs to the said Pallivasal. Now in the above civil dispute, the third respondent threatened the petitioner with dire consequences. Hence, he filed a complaint before the second respondent, but the same was not enquired into.Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that earlier the petitioner has made a complaint before the second respondent police alleging that the third respondent is threatening him with regard to the dispute over a land belongs to Pallivasal and same was enquired and closed based on the statement given by the cultivating tenant. Now the petitioner has made another complaint before the second respondent police and the same is pending enquiry.
4. Considering the fact that the enquiry on the complaint given by petitioner before the second respondent police is pending, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police and co-operate for enquiry. The respondent police is also directed to complete the investigation within a period of two weeks from the date receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
