2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to issue Birth Certificate of the daughter of the petitioner named Chandrakala by correcting the name of the petitioner as Mariammal instead of Vanitha, as has been entered in the Birth Certificate. 4.According to the petitioner,the entry of her name as Vanitha instead of Mariammal in the Birth Certificate of her daughter, is an erroneous entry and therefore, she wanted the same to be corrected. Ventilating such grievance, the petitioner has already made a representation on 18.10.2016.

Therefore, it is for the respondents to consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law Accordingly without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider the said representation and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
