2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for upgradation of one post of Secondary Grade Teacher as Headmaster in the petitioner's School from the date of its bifurcation as Primary School in terms of G.O.(Ms)No.525, dated 29.12.1997.

4. It is seen that the petitioner has already made two representations seeking for such relief on 21.12.2015 and 07.12.2016. Therefore, it is for the competent authority namely, the second and third respondents to consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law.

5. Thus, at this stage, this Court is not expressing any opinion on the merit of the case, except by directing the second and third respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.12.2016 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
