Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.R.SHANKAR GANESH, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time to comply with the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6258 of 2021 dated 30.04.2021.

2. It appears that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail as early as on 30.04.2021 and after a period of four months, this application has been filed for extension of time, stating that due to the pandemic situation, the petitioner could not arrange the sureties. This Court is not satisfied with the reasons assigned in the petition. Therefore, this petition is dismissed, however, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a fresh application for anticipatory bail, if so advised.
