ORDER

The present Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and police protection to celebrate the Kovil Kodai in the temple situated at Oorudaiyarpuram, Nainarkulam Road, Tirunelveli Town, to be held on 08.05.2026 and 09.05.2026, based upon the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2026.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner's application was considered and permission and protection were also granted with conditions vide communication of the third respondent dated 05.05.2026.

3. In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is seeking any additional Police protection, the same may be granted at the expense of the petitioner. No costs.
