PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent, i..e, the Principal Secretary to Government, Home [Courts-V] Department, Chennai, to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2016, regarding acceptance of the revised pension proposals sent by the Sub-Judge, Uthamapalayam, in his letter D.No.1533/15, dated 03.11.2015 by the Accountant General, Chennai wtihin a specified time frame. 2. It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the third respondent that the third respondent has passed an order dated 27.03.2017, based on the representation of the petitioner, giving a marginal increase in the pension of the petitioner.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is contemplating of challenging the said order.
4. In the light of the above, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
