Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2017 and consequently direct the respondent to regularize the charges in the public toilets and bathrooms in and around Madurai Corporation and also electricity charges within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court. [Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to regularize charges for using public toilets and bathrooms in and around Madurai Corporation Limit, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.R.Murali, learned counsel, has taken notice for the respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that the petitioner has given a representation on 23.01.2017 with regard to the charges mentioned in the petition, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondent is strictly directed to look into the representation dated 23.01.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of one week.
