Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her family and her house constructing works against the life threat perceived from the 5 to 22 respondents on the basis of complaint, dated 05.04.2019.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and 2 / 4

her family and her house constructing works against the life threat perceived from the 5 to 22 respondents on the basis of complaint, dated 05.04.2019. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the case has been registered against the accused persons. Again, they assaulted the petitioner and snatched his cell phone. Hence, the petitioner gave another complaint against the accused persons on 22.07.2022.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that after receiving the complaint from the petitioner, the respondent police has registered the case in Crime No.284 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 147, 448, 323 and 506(ii) IPC and the investigation is still pending. Again, the petitioner gave another complaint on 22.07.2022, but, so far, the respondent police received any complaint. 4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the fourth respondent is hereby directed to conduct an enquiry upon the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 22.07.2022 and to provide police protection for constructing house works of the petitioner. 3 / 4
