The petitioner claiming to be the Trustee of Sri Vadivel Vinayagar temple and SriVaratharaja Perumal Temples situated in Kizhamudiman Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Tutucorin District, made two representations on 12.03.2015 and 03.12.2016 before the respondents seeking for grant of patta in the name of those temples in respect of the land situated at Survey No.240/4A of Kizhamudiman Village, after effecting survey and sub division. 2.Needless to say that it is for the third respondent to consider the said request of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law and therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 12.03.2015 and 03.12.2016 and pass orders after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
