This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No. 177 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to money dispute, the petitioner and his wife abused the second respondent's husband and also threatened him with dire consequences. Hence the complaint.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant, an FIR in Crime No. 177 of 2020 had been registered, for the offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 323, 324 and 307 IPC. After investigation, final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirupathur, Sivagangai District and the e-filing number is that 919/2022, dated 22.07.2022. 2/4

4.Recording the same, this criminal original petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report filed by the respondent police.
