PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conduct the peace committee meeting in relating to the Aadi month festival at "Sri Ayyanar and Parivara Theivangal" is situated at Nemmeli Village, Valamanickam Post, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2019 within the stipulated time.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to conduct the peace committee meeting in relating to the Aadi month festival at "Sri Ayyanar and Parivara Theivangal" is situated at Nemmeli Village, Valamanickam Post, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2019 within the stipulated time.

2.Heard Mr.G.Mathavan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Pandiarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.Today when the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the prayer as sought for by the petitioner is to conduct the peace committee meeting in relation to the Aadi month festival by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2019 is infructuous.
