Nambiselvan Additional Public Prosecutor O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuing direction to the 1st respondent to instruct the 2nd respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute and not to harass the petitioner and her family members under the guise of enquiry based on the petitioner's representation, dated 12.04.2023.

2. According to the petitioner, he borrowed a sum of Rs. 50,000/- from the 4th respondent and later, returned the same. It is alleged that the 4th respondent, who is working in Police Department, with the help of second respondent making pressure upon the petitioner to pay exorbitant interest.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner has also given a complaint against the 4th respondent.

4. Since the 4th respondent is working in Police Department, 2/4

there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent viz., the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Srivaikundam, Thoothukudi District to enquire the complaint against the 4th respondent. If any prima facie ground is available, then he may proceed against him departmentally and also take action as per law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
