ORDER

The petitioner claims that she is studying in a private college at Trichy. She has acquaintance with the 3rd respondent, who has introduced himself through the social media. He has projected that he is a Doctor and in due course, he has taken obscene photographs of the petitioner. Now he is threatening the petitioner that he would circulate those photos of the petitioner in social media. Therefore, she has approached this Court seeking for police protection 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl Side), who takes notice for the respondent police submits that the complaint of the petitioner was received through post on 14.05.2025. As per the instructions given to him by one Mrs.Vasantha, Sub Inspector of Police, attached to the 2nd respondent police, the petitioner was not available for enquiry and therefore, they are not in a position to take further action on the complaint of the petitioner.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is residing within 20 feet from the 2nd respondent police station and she is 2/4

always available for enquiry and he denied the submission of the learned Government Advocate. He also submits that the petitioner would appear before the respondent police today itself for enquiry. 4.Considering the submission made on either side, this petition is closed, with a direction to the petitioner to appear for enquiry before the respondent police and the respondent police are directed to take appropriate action in accordance with law, without any further delay. 17.06.2025 DSK To 1.The Commissioner of Police, COP Office, TVS Tollgate, Trichy - 20, Trichy District.
